The protection of our users' privacy and personal data is a concern for ICC.
With the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation, the knowledge you have and can obtain regarding personal data is enhanced. This communication aims to make you aware of the new rules, the rights you hold and how to manage them.
1 The entity responsible for the processing of personal data is ICC, Irmãos Carvalho, Lda.
2 The data is processed to enable the provision of the services we deliver and to comply with legal requirements. It is provided by the data subject themselves, with their consent, for the exclusive use of our company (Irmãos Carvalho, Lda) and for the performance of the services. Any omission or inaccuracy in the data provided is the responsibility of the data subject.
3.1 Personal data collected at the administrative level, namely: Name, Full address, Contact details (telephone and email), Tax number (NIF) and Beneficiary Entity with the respective number when applicable, are used solely for registering the customer in our system, for dispatching orders, sales, and for issuing mandatory legal documents such as invoices.
3.2 Personal data provided or collected professionally, within the scope of contact made directly with the professional service provider (ICC employee), is covered by professional secrecy which encompasses all employees of the company Irmãos Carvalho, Lda. Their purpose is to enable the provision of service to the client. At this point, the following purposes are excepted:
– Reduction in paper communication, for environmental and bureaucratic reasons, through the authorised sending of invoices or other documents digitally, rather than printing them;
– Customer information campaigns regarding new services, changes to opening hours, new addresses and contact details;
4 The user may object to the processing of data for the purposes set out in the preceding paragraph at any time, and for this purpose must contact ICC, preferably in writing and where possible, at the email address gera@icc.com.pt, expressing this intention.
5 The personal data referred to in point 3 are subject to digital filing and are kept for varying periods of time depending on the purpose for which they are intended and taking into account legal criteria, necessity and minimisation of the retention period.
6 Users have the right to access, rectify, object to, erase, restrict and port their personal data. The exercise of these rights should preferably be carried out by email to the address geral@icc.com.pt or by any other written means (registered letter or in-person declaration by the data subject themselves or a representative with powers to do so).
7 Fulfilment of the requests mentioned in the previous paragraph shall be carried out as quickly as possible and their completion communicated through the same channel as the request.
8 Any complaints related to the subject matter of this communication may, without prejudice to being made directly to the company Irmãos Carvalho, Lda, be submitted to the supervisory authority: Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).
